Gait Analysis
Analyses that evaluate physical condition, posture, and potential health issues by examining gait patterns.
Gait Analysis
Gait analysis is a method aimed at evaluating physical condition, posture, and potential health problems by examining individuals' gait patterns.
Gait analysis is typically conducted using video recordings, sensors, or specialized software. The analysis evaluates parameters such as gait imbalances, stride length, and speed, and plans customized solutions for the feet.
Footurist uses a pedobarography device in foot analysis. The pedobarography device is a technology that measures and analyzes the pressure distribution on the sole using sensors. The reasons for using this device are:
- Diabetic Foot Assessment: Pressure point analysis is important for preventing foot ulcers in diabetic patients. Pedobarography helps identify risky areas.
- Posture and Stance Analysis: It is used to evaluate postural issues and abnormalities in foot structure.
- Sports Performance Analysis: Helps athletes improve their performance by analyzing the pressure on the soles during walking and running.
- Rehabilitation Processes: Optimizes the treatment process by monitoring pressure distribution on the sole during recovery after injuries.
- Foot Problems: Enables the identification and development of appropriate treatment methods for issues such as flat feet, plantar fasciitis, and heel spurs.
- Orthopedic Assessments: Used for detailed analysis of foot structure when creating orthopedic treatment plans.
Pedobarography is valuable in monitoring foot health and preventing various health problems. The data obtained through pedobarography offer numerous benefits for custom insole production. Here are these benefits:
- Customization: Pedobarography analyzes the pressure distribution and gait patterns on the soles of individuals. This data allows for the design of insoles tailored to each individual's needs.
- Injury Prevention: Identifying high-pressure points on the sole can be considered in insole design to reduce the risk of injury.
- Increased Comfort: Custom-designed insoles provide greater comfort during walking and standing, making daily activities more comfortable.
- Corrected Posture: Pedobarography data helps detect posture disorders. The insoles produced provide the necessary support to correct these disorders.
- Pain Management: Especially effective in reducing pain in conditions such as plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, or other foot disorders.
- Performance Enhancement: Insoles designed for athletes can be optimized to enhance performance, contributing to better results.
- Long-Term Use: Custom insoles offer prolonged comfort and support as they are produced to match the foot structure.
These benefits illustrate why data obtained from pedobarography is so valuable in insole production.
Footurist uses three different analysis methods in its assessments:
- Static Analysis: An assessment method that examines the pressure distribution on the soles while the individual is standing or sitting.
- Balance Analysis: A method used to measure and analyze individuals' balance while standing.
- Dynamic Analysis: A method that examines the pressure distribution on the soles during walking. This analysis offers a more dynamic assessment compared to static analysis.
The results of the three analyses produce maps that show the pressure distribution on the soles. These maps visually present the pressure intensities in different areas, helping identify posture disorders in individuals. For example, conditions such as inward or outward turning of the feet can be detected. Flat feet, high arches, or other anatomical abnormalities can be identified. By examining balance and the pressure distribution on the sole, balance problems can be assessed. The data obtained can be used in planning orthopedic insoles or other treatment methods.
Customized Insole Design
Footurist designs insoles that are tailored specifically to each foot, not just customized for the individual.
Customized Insole Design
Reshape Your Foot Health with 3D Technology!
Footurist designs insoles tailored specifically to each foot, not just customized for the individual. The pressure on each foot can vary for several reasons:
- Anatomical Differences: Each individual's foot structure is unique. Differences in foot bones, muscle structure, and tendons can affect pressure distribution.
- Posture and Gait Style: A person's posture and walking style can change the pressure on each foot. For example, if someone uses one foot more while walking, the pressure on that foot may increase.
- Injuries and Pain: Previous injuries or pain can affect a person's walking style. Someone may use the painful foot less, placing more load on the other.
- Shoe Choice: Different types of shoes can apply pressure to different areas of the feet. For instance, tight shoes may create more pressure at specific points.
- Weight Distribution: How body weight is distributed affects the pressure on each foot. Excess weight or an imbalanced body structure can lead to pressure differences.
- Foot Problems: Flat feet, high arches, or other orthopedic issues can cause different pressure distributions on each foot.
These factors lead to different pressures on each foot, which is important for insole design and gait analysis.
Footurist evaluates each foot separately and designs insoles specifically tailored for each foot.

Rehabilitation Technologies
Smart Insole and Sensor Technology: “Coding the Future of Foot Health!”
Footurist continues its R&D efforts on AI-supported smart insole and sensor technology capable of pressure analysis with local and national sensors, capable of recording data during long walks and identifying injury risks.
Smart insole systems are technological products designed to monitor, assess, and improve foot health and performance. These systems generally include the following features and functions:
- Sensor Technology: Smart insoles are equipped with sensors that collect data such as pressure, acceleration, and temperature. These sensors continuously monitor pressure distribution and movement dynamics on the foot.
- Data Analysis: The collected data is analyzed via mobile applications or computer software, allowing users to understand how their feet function during walking or running.
- Feedback and Reporting: Users can receive real-time feedback about their foot health and performance. Some systems help users set goals and track their progress.
- Improved Posture and Performance: Smart insoles can help correct balance and posture during walking and running, reducing the risk of injury.
- Customized Adjustments: Some smart insole systems can be customized to meet the needs of users, providing support suitable for foot structures such as flat feet or high arches.
- Rehabilitation and Treatment Support: Physiotherapists and health professionals can use smart insoles during rehabilitation processes after injuries.
- Activity Tracking: Some systems track daily activities, helping users set exercise suggestions and health goals.
Smart insole systems provide an innovative solution for both athletes and general users to monitor and improve foot health.
